PhytoNOTE #10

Innovation for tomorrow's phytomedicine

Invention + consumer need = Innovation for tomorrow's phytomedicine

Innovation is the key to success.

Steve Jobs said about innovation: “Some people say 'give the customers what they want', but that's not my approach. Our job is to figure out what they're going to want before they know. People don't know what they want until you show it to them.”

Henry Ford said, "If I'd ask customers what they wanted, they would've told me a faster horse."

An innovation does not need to be something new, as opposed to an invention, which is something never seen before. Usually it takes years for an invention to be commercialized and there is no certainty that it ever reaches the market at all.

While #invention is the generation of novel ideas, #innovation implies the implementation of these ideas, and only if there is a #consumerdesire, an invention will eventually become an innovation.

This is what we do at red otc: based on the growing market need for #phytomedicine, we implement ideas by developping natural medicinal products in innovative formats customers will ask for tomorrow, and license them to companies that spotted the growing demand for a healthy and natural lifestyle.
